Mango Cookie Smoothie

This is my #1 go-to smoothie. It’s delicious, satiating, and takes only a few minutes to throw all ingredients into a blender and blend away. All ingredients are a staple in my kitchen, so even when I’m out of fresh produce and my fridge is nearing empty, I can count on this smoothie for breakfast. What I love most, of course, is how it tastes. The mango isn’t overpowering; it adds a touch of tropical sweetness and blended with the vanilla protein powder, oats, and sunflower seed butter, it tastes like a cookie.

Ingredients
Note: I do not measure ingredients; these are estimations.

  • 1 C frozen mango

  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (I love this one)

  • 1/4 C oats

  • 1-2 T sunflower seed butter

  • cinnamon

  • unsweetened non-dairy milk of choice to cover all ingredients (more liquid = thinner smoothie; less liquid = thicker smoothie)

How To

  • place all ingredients in the blender starting with frozen and ending with liquid

  • blend until smooth
