Beauty Brunch: Summer Bronze
In order to prevent wrinkles, sun damage, hyperpigmentation and so on, I apply SPF to my face every single day no matter what. During the summer though, that often means my face doesn't match my body.
I shared how I amp up the wattage with a few simple steps and by that I mean a million more steps than I thought it was.
The step-by-step goes a little like this:
-Prep skin with Clinique moisturizer and Glossier Invisible Shield
-Mix Glossier Perfecting Skin Tint in Medium with a pump and a half of Benefit Dew the Hoola and blend all over face, below the chin and down the neck
-Conceal under eyes, around the nose, chin with Urban Decay Naked Skin concealer using sponge
-Set with Physicians Formula translucent mineral face powder
-Contour in hollow of cheeks and around forehead with Too Faced Dark Chocolate Soleil bronzer
-Press Clinique Cheek Pop in Nude Pop onto cheekbones, blending into the bronzer contour
-Highlight with Lorac Moonlight on top of cheekbones, tip of nose, cupid's bow
-Prime lids with Sephora Beauty Amplifier Lid & Liner Primer
-Cover lid with Too Faced Salted Caramel eye shadow from Chocolate Bar palette; blend Milk Chocolate shade gently above crease for contour; blend Semi-Sweet from palette into outer corner of lid, moving the shade inward toward center of lid; blend Semi-Sweet under the bottom lash line
-Using tip of ring finger, dab Funny Girl from Tartelette in Bloom palette onto the center of lid and inner corner of eye for a pop of gold
-Apply 2-3 coats of Maybelline Colossal Big Shot mascara on lashes
-Fill in brows with Glossier Boy Brow in blonde
-Finish with Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Quench Lip Rescue in Nude
I also love this look with no eye shadow and a coral lip instead.
