Beauty Brunch: Daytime Purple Eye
Traveling #BeautyBrunch livestreams continue to be a thing around here. Last weekend, we went to Portland for my first time ever. I ended up loving the city much more than I expected to, and our Airbnb turned out to be the cutest setting for Saturday's "show."
Seriously, whoever owns that Airbnb, can I hire you to come decorate my house?
In town for a wedding and knowing the following weekend was to kick off Coachella, I was in a colorful, girly spirit. Thus, I opted for a shimmery purple eye.
Light enough for daytime but bright enough to be considered anything but boring, this look is all about layering. The easiest way to get a color to pop is to use a strong base underneath the shimmery color of choice. I started with a base of creamy rose and layered various shades of purple on top, using a lighter purple to line the bottom lash line.
